6-Step Guide: Setting a Radio-Controlled Clock Correctly
Discover our new YouTube channel now! From now on, we will show you tutorials and helpful tips there on the topic of wall clocks and wristwatches. One introduction covers the topic: reset function. We show you instructions for the reset function in just 6 easy steps!
Instructions for the reset function
1. Use new, high-quality batteries and insert them into the battery compartment the wrong way round. This means swapping the two poles. Wait about 10 seconds.
2. Then take the batteries out again and put them back into the battery compartment the right way round.
3. The clock will now set itself to 4, 8, or 12 o'clock.
4. After some time, the clock will automatically find the correct time. This can take a few minutes, a few hours, and sometimes even up to a day. So be patient.
5. Feel free to try the whole thing 1-2 times.
6. If the clock still does not run properly, please contact us if you purchased the clock from our shop (uhren4you.de).
The AMS 5848 from our example therefore has a warranty period of 3 years as an analog radio-controlled wall clock!
Attention: The reset function should not be carried out on clocks with GER technology, as this can damage the movement. Otherwise, the reset function can be carried out on all radio-controlled wall clocks.
