A combination of old and new - Newgate MRROB203OGY
Our watch of the week belongs to the NewGate brand. It is particularly antique, and its traces can also be found in English history.
The Newgate brand
Another is the Newgate, a gatehouse in the Scottish town of Jedburgh in the Council Area Scottish Borders. In 1971, the building was added to the Scottish list of historic monuments in the highest category, A.
Above all, the history remains shaped in English style. The English couple Jim and Chloe Read from Shropshire also founded the Newgate brand. They love retro products and modern designs, and above all elegant and innovative watches. That is why the two have been developing new wall clocks since 1992 and combining old and new styles in the manufacturing process. The success was enormous, and so a company was created that still sells unique clock designs of the highest quality today. Much use is made of silver-coloured finishes, Roman numerals, and comparatively thick hour and minute hands.
