Our Watch of the Week is the Hermle 30913-742100 wall clock. What makes our Watch of the Week special is the large Roman numeral that makes up and fills the entire dial. The living room clock is very modern, timeless, and adapts perfectly to your home. In this article, learn more about Hermle clocks, as well as our Watch of the Week and its alternatives.
The clock manufacturer Hermle
The Hermle brand stands for high-quality grandfather clocks,
wall clocks,
table clocks, and regulators, and has done so since 1922. The clocks are largely handcrafted and refined with interesting technical and visual details. These masterpieces enjoy great popularity worldwide and represent time in its most beautiful form. The family business Hermle has its roots in Gosheim on the Swabian Alb. The region is considered a European center for machining technology and was once a hub of the German clock industry. Even today, it is known for its spirit of invention and diligence. The large clocks from the Hermle clock manufactory do not reinvent time, but they certainly give it a distinctive aesthetic.
While the classic grandfather clocks — inspired by the living spaces of a significant century — revive the culture and lifestyle of times gone by, Hermle’s designer grandfather clocks stand for creativity, purism, and innovation.
Our Hermle 30913-742100
Our Watch of the Week, the Hermle 30913-742100, consists of a round MDF wood fiber board. It measures 70 cm in diameter and 4 cm in depth. A large black Roman numeral XII is milled into this board across the entire surface, so the rest of the dial is transparent. A thin black frame completes the design. The dial therefore has no other indexes, only two simple gold-colored hour and minute hands. The movement is a quartz movement.
You can find the modern wall clock in our shop in four different versions. The black model is available once with a diameter of 70 cm (our Watch of the Week) and once with a diameter of 50 cm. Two more versions are available in gold with black hands. Here too, the sizes are 70 cm (Hermle 30913-X62100) and 50 cm (Hermle 0914-X62100).
