Jacques Farel Hayfield Watches as a Gift Idea
The concept behind it
Three Jacques Farel Hayfield watches
The walnut wood used for one of our Watch of the Week models is FSC-certified and comes from cultivated sources. This FSC label stands for transparency and credibility and ensures that people and nature are treated fairly. After the wood for the case ring is punched, filed, and drilled, it is sealed and coated with a varnish that protects the wood from moisture as well as dryness. This is the ORM 2003; in addition to the walnut wood case ring, it has a green leather strap and a green dial. The case is a silver-colored stainless steel case. The dial also features wooden chronographs. The leather strap of the Watch of the Week models is also made from natural German eco-leather. The strap colors are free from heavy metals and chromium. The International Association of Natural Textile Industry, the Association for Organic Farming, and the European Foundation for Allergy Research have certified the colors for environmental and health compatibility. This model, ORM 2004, has a light brown leather strap and a light brown dial. Here too, the case is made of silver-colored stainless steel, and the case ring is made of maple wood. The dial is also dominated by the silver-colored baton indices and the chronographs made of wood. This dial is black with silver-colored baton indices and beige hands. There is an Arabic twelve on the dial. In addition, the minutes and seconds are shown in Arabic numerals below the baton indices. This creates a strong contrast to the beige wooden chronographs. The ORM 2002 also has a black leather strap and a dark brown case ring. The movement is a quartz movement and the water resistance is 5 Bar.
