The Junkers Brand
Junkers watches are handmade quality and Made in Germany. Hugo Junkers was the most important industrialist in German commercial aircraft and aircraft engine construction of his era and one of the pioneering aviation trailblazers worldwide. In 1895, he founded the company Junkers & Co. in Dessau and was the owner of Junkers Motorenbau GmbH and Junkers Flugzeugwerk AG until 1932. Initially known as a designer of gas heaters, Junkers developed fundamental insights in aircraft construction as a university lecturer and researcher, engineer, and entrepreneur, such as all-metal construction and corrugated structure. In addition, his company also manufactured aircraft engines. Junkers watches impress with their simple yet extravagant pilot-style designs.
Junkers watches will delight anyone who feels especially drawn to aviation and flying and their exciting history. On February 3, 2009, aviation and technology enthusiasts around the world celebrated a very special anniversary: 150 years earlier, on February 3, 1859, the brilliant inventor was born in Rheydt as the son of a textile mill owner.

Our Junkers 9.25.01.01.M
Our watch of the week, the Junkers 9.25.01.01.M, is a quartz watch with the Miyota GL36 movement and it features a rose gold Milanese stainless steel bracelet. The stainless steel case is also rose gold, while the dial is dark blue. The hands and baton indices, as well as the three Arabic numerals, are rose gold. The Junkers watch is especially timeless and elegant.
