The wood offcuts can be, for example, maple wood, sandalwood, zebrawood, or hackberry wood.

A quick look at the online presence of wooden watch manufacturers makes it clear that sustainability and environmental protection play a major role in the production of wooden watches. In production, they use exclusively offcuts left over from the manufacture of furniture or interior fittings that would otherwise end up in the trash.
