The adventurer Bear Grylls

Edward Michael Grylls, known as Bear Grylls, is a former British SAS soldier, adventurer, documentary filmmaker, scout leader, and author. He gained fame, among other things, through the series Man vs. Wild. Grylls served from 1994 to 1997 with the 21st Special Air Service Regiment, a special unit of the British Army Reserve. In 1998, at the age of 23, Grylls became the youngest Briton to climb Mount Everest. He has been involved in numerous TV productions, such as Man vs. Wild. In this series, Grylls shows how to survive in the wilderness and find your way back to civilization from there. In another series, Grylls shows how to survive threatening everyday situations, such as a fire in a nightclub or a chase, as unharmed as possible. There were also other formats, such as a reality show in which several teams compete against each other and must master various survival scenarios.
