Our new Withings 40-43-2476 ScanWatch

Our watch of the week is the Withings 40-43-2476 ScanWatch. Learn more in this post about the Withings brand and its brand-new Scan and smartwatches in our shop.

About the Withings brand

10 years ago, Eric Carreel, co-founder of Withings, launched the first Wi-Fi scale on the market. Withings' philosophy is that everyone should have access to the right tools to continuously monitor their health outside the doctor’s office and prevent and better manage chronic illnesses from home. Today, Withings makes easy-to-use everyday devices that connect to the free Health Mate app. The devices were developed with experts and supported by doctors. In addition, they have several medical certifications and more than 150 medical studies behind them. ScanWatches are the most advanced health wearables on the market. They are made of powerful sensors and high-quality materials. ScanWatch features a combined heart rate and SpO2 sensor, 3 electrodes, an altimeter, and a PMOLED display - all in a stainless steel case protected by sapphire crystal. Thanks to the proprietary algorithms, the watch is able to provide highly valuable and accurate information that can be shared with doctors. All Withings watches are unisex and can be worn by both men and women.

Our Withings 40-43-2476 ScanWatch

So our watch of the week, the Withings 40-43-2476, is also such a ScanWatch. In principle, it can track all activities as a fitness tracker: walking, running, cycling, swimming, sleep, distance, elevation gain, floors climbed, and calories burned. Certain scans can detect breathing disorders and atrial fibrillation early and monitor the heartbeat. Using the free app, all of this data is then synchronized and used to map progress over time. The watch can also be set to baby mode to track growth. This multifunction watch has a black fluoroelastomer strap, and the dial is also black with raised chrome baton hour markers. The secondary dial shows daily activity goal progress in percent. The smartwatch functions are displayed on the PMOLED screen.
