Roger Lascelles TIN/DAISY

At Uhren4you.de, we crowned the TIN/DAISY by Roger Lascelles as this week’s Watch of the Week. A summery floral pattern that is a perfect fit for summer, but can also be matched to your kitchen or living room furnishings. It would also look very good in a conservatory, for example, as it brings the connection to nature back to life.

The TIN/DAISY is a round wall clock made of metal. With a diameter of 34.5 cm, its shape is reminiscent of a plate. Nevertheless, the antique style is also very romantic and playful. The muted and faded colours intensify this vintage-like impression. The dial is yellow-beige, with black Arabic numerals and a small baton index. The black metal hands are ornate. The dial also reads 'Café des Margueritas' and 'St. Etienne'. Daisy flowers with a few shrubs appear around the edge of the clock.

The daisy

“Ever beautiful” is the German translation of the daisy’s Latin name. And it is true! Tirelessly, this plant produces its small flower heads for almost the entire year. Daisies are among the few flowers that can also withstand frequent mowing and keep forming new flower heads. Even small children know and love the friendly daisy, which decorates meadows with bright white-and-yellow dots.

The daisy (Bellis perennis), also called perennial daisy or common daisy, is a plant species in the daisy family. Since it grows on almost every meadow, it is one of the best-known plant species in Central Europe. Instead of mowing the pretty flowers down with the lawnmower, you can also harvest them and use them in many ways. Daisies are great for eating, as a medicinal herb, or for lovely bouquets and flower wreaths. That is why the daisy motif also works so well in the kitchen, as a kitchen clock.

As another version, we present the TIN/CITRON. Another wall clock that also works as a kitchen clock. Here we see a motif with lemons. A bright dial with a light yellowish border reading 'Nice- Citron' and 'Le Meilleur de tous'. This model is also designed in an antique look.
