The Atlanta 4475 in modern autumn tones
Slowly but surely, we have arrived in the autumn/winter season, which means we should be thinking about new shades. The absolute autumn colours for autumn 2018 are the new earthy tones! They pair perfectly with all the trends in the furniture world. They also go well with soft leather or knitwear and can be combined from subtle to bold.
Summer is over, autumn trends are coming
The warm summer nights are gone. But before nature once again settles down for the cold winter, it shows us one more time the beauty of colour it is capable of. Many designers have drawn inspiration from nature for this year’s autumn trends and are surprising us with warm autumn tones. Fashionable accents can already be set with watches and jewellery in autumnal colours. Bold reds such as the trendy fuchsia can be admired not only on the catwalks, but soon also in your jewellery box.
But these autumn tones can also be applied to living spaces and home inspiration. That is why we chose the Atlanta 4475 as the watch of the week and at the same time as the watch of autumn. It impresses with a warm, rusty autumn look.
After all, most people associate rust with defective or no longer usable metal that has to be disposed of. But corrosion caused by oxygen can also serve purely decorative purposes without destroying the object. In this case, it is called noble rust - an artificially created layer of rust.
Watch of autumn: Atlanta 4475
This rust-layer look is also featured in our watch of the week, the Atlanta 4475. It can be used both indoors and outdoors as an outdoor clock. But it also has other special external features. The dial consists of an outer ring. This is divided into two parts and looks as if it has been pieced together and repaired again. On the right side of the ring are copper-coloured Arabic numerals, and on the left side are cut-out Roman numerals. In the centre of the dial, the metal hands are mounted. A sun is shown in copper colour and, cut out once more, a moon. A very versatile wall clock in a worn, antique look.
