Emerging from the German general agency of the Swiss Union Horlogère, experienced watchmakers and watch dealers joined together in 1917 to form the German Watchmakers' Cooperative Alpina (DUGENA). The distribution of selected quality watches from Germany became the cooperative's purpose.

Our watch of the week, the Dugena 4461035 from the Venetia series, consists of a silver-colored stainless steel bracelet and a stainless steel case back fastened with four screws. The bezel has a distinctive ridged texture that gives the watch a very elegant look. This texture is also echoed on the dial. It extends from the center of the dial, where the hands are also located.
