Die Karlsson KA5820 in Boho style
Our watch of the week is the Karlsson KA5820 design wall clock in boho style. A style that is currently shaping fashion and interiors. It is youthful, cheeky, and above all unconventional, and it has many fans. Read on to find out what makes this clock so special and why it can be counted as part of the boho style.
The boho style
The boho style – a cheerful home and fashion trend. Whether from high-end designers or fashion chains – “boho chic” is now an indispensable part of fashion. The term “boho” – or better, “bohème” – stems from an intellectual distinction in France that stands for creative free spirit. Artists in particular identify with this lifestyle and celebrate their sense of freedom with a deliberately laid-back way of living – and have done so since the mid-19th century. In fashion, cowgirl boots and turquoise jewelry are now replaced by pairing a folk blouse with simple Marlene trousers. Or fringe skirts with elegant blazers. The trend has become more metropolitan, but still leaves plenty of room for individual styling. The boho chic home style stands for unconventional living with an imperfect look that is both vibrant and natural. What some once dismissed as hippie chic has seen a rapid rise in popularity in interior design since the 1990s. It is the skillful mix of old and new wooden and rattan furniture, colorful textiles, and plenty of ethnic-style decor that makes the boho look so special.
Our Karlsson KA5820
Our modern wall clock has a diameter of 60 cm, making it an XXL clock. It has a brown and black plastic case arranged in a radial pattern. The individual rods create a natural impression through their colors and could almost look like wood. On the other hand, the rods of different lengths are reminiscent of spread-out fringe. Which is why this Karlsson clock can be perfectly combined in boho style. The dial is black with gold-colored hands and no indices. It features a low-noise quartz movement.
