What is a weather station?
A weather station is a collection of various measuring instruments used to measure meteorological values and thus observe the weather at a specific location and for climate research. The oldest weather station still in existence is the one at Kremsmünster Observatory in Upper Austria. It was established in 1762 and has the world's longest continuous measurement series.

It can display the weather forecast for 50 regions across Germany and for a further 150 holiday destinations. The forecast is always for 4 days and is divided into morning, afternoon, evening, and night. In addition to the hour, minute, and date, the TFA station can also display the indoor and outdoor temperature, as well as the current humidity in the room. The package includes the base station itself, as well as a temperature transmitter, power adapter, batteries, and an operating manual.
