The Rocket N1 series
The Rocket N1 was a launch vehicle of the USSR that was developed as part of the crewed moon program starting in 1959. The Rocket N1 was the counterpart to the Saturn V, which was meant to carry a human to the moon for the first time with the Apollo 11 mission. The rocket weighed 2,750 tons and was an incredible 105.3 m tall. Due to massive time pressure caused by the rivalry with the USA, some inspection and test phases were skipped. As a result, none of the four test flights between 1969 and 1972 were successful. Each flight ended in a crash. The program was finally discontinued in 1974.The Vostok watch NH35A-225A615
