Description
The Bauhaus 2888-5 Aviation is a classic pilot's wristwatch for men, manufactured in-house in Ruhla, Germany. The black DLC-coated stainless steel case with a diameter of 4.2 cm and a height of 1.2 cm gives the watch a distinctive, sporty character. The brown dial with beige luminous numerals and indices as well as luminous hands ensures excellent legibility even in demanding conditions.
As a flyback chronograph, the Bauhaus Aviation 2888-5 offers a special pilot function: the stopwatch can be reset and immediately restarted with a single push of a button. The robust mineral K1 safety crystal reliably protects the dial, and water resistance to 10 bar makes the watch versatile for a wide range of uses. It is powered by the precise Swiss quartz movement ETA G10.212AN with 4 jewels.

- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Remove mechanical watches when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
