Description
The Bulova MIL-SHIPS 98A325 is an exceptional men's watch that pays tribute to Bulova's legendary military heritage. Inspired by a rare prototype from 1957 developed for the US Navy, this special edition celebrates Bulova's 150th anniversary. The CuSn8 bronze case with sandblasted finish carries a rose-gold shimmer reminiscent of the copper diving helmets of the 19th century. Over time, the bronze material develops a natural patina that not only enhances its durability but also gives the timepiece a uniquely timeless character.
The deep-blue dial is framed by a rotating aluminium bezel and features Super-LumiNova hands and luminous indices for optimal legibility in low light. A domed sapphire crystal with five-layer anti-reflective coating reliably protects the dial. A dual-color moisture indicator and a commemorative caseback marking Bulova's 150th anniversary further underscore the collectible value of this watch. The automatic calibre 83S0 with 21 jewels and a 42-hour power reserve powers the movement. It is paired with a premium Cordura® nylon-rubber hybrid strap. With water resistance to 200 metres, the watch is suitable for swimming, showering, and diving.

- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.

Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Remove mechanical watches when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
