The Casio G-Shock DWE-5657RE-1 is part of the exclusive, limited REMASTER BLACK series celebrating the 40th anniversary of the G-Shock line. It honours the milestones of G-Shock history and reimagines iconic models — in particular the DW-5600C and DW-5700C — in an all-black aesthetic. At its heart is a digital quartz movement with Super Illuminator LED backlight and an extended battery life of approximately five years.
The case and strap are crafted from sustainable bio-resin, delivering the rugged toughness G-Shock is known for. The strap features hot-stamping with the model names of past milestone G-Shocks — a unique design detail that makes the history of the line visible. A gold-tone stainless steel strap loop adorned with four stars symbolises four decades of toughness. The watch is water-resistant to 20 bar and offers a stopwatch (1/100 second), countdown timer and alarm function.

Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Remove mechanical watches when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
