The Casio AE-1000W-8AVEF from the popular Vintage line combines sporty design with extensive functionality. The dial is reminiscent of an aircraft cockpit instrument, giving the watch a distinctive character. The robust resin case with a spherical resin crystal and a resin strap adjustable from 145 to 215 mm make the Casio AE-1000W-8AVEF exceptionally durable and comfortable to wear. Water-resistant to 100 metres, it is also perfectly suited for sports activities. The orange LED backlight with adjustable afterglow duration ensures excellent legibility even in the dark.

- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Remove mechanical watches when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
