Description
The Casio CA-500WEGG-9BEF is a men's watch from the Vintage Collection, paying deliberate homage to the Casio CQ-1 of 1976 – the world's first multifunctional digital calculator watch. The distinctive retro design features a green-tinted negative LCD, colourful accents and a full calculator keyboard, reviving the aesthetic of the vacuum fluorescent displays found in early calculators. The result is a watch that blends nostalgic charm with everyday practicality.
The resin case with chrome-plated elements measures 43.2 × 34.4 × 8.2 mm and weighs 53 g. The stainless steel bracelet is self-adjustable and fits wrist circumferences from 15 to 20.5 cm. The grey ion-plated steel lends the watch a refined retro touch. Powered by a CR2016 battery with an approximate lifespan of 5 years, the watch offers world time, dual time, timekeeping, hourly time signal and a 1/100-second stopwatch with up to 23 hours of measurement capacity. A fully automatic calendar valid until 2099 completes the feature set.

- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Remove mechanical watches when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
