The Casio G-Shock GBX-H5600KI-5ER is a special collaboration watch created with international professional surfer Kanoa Igarashi — already his fourth signature model. Inspired by the sea cliffs of Portugal, one of his favourite training destinations, the watch features a two-tone bezel and a strap made from bio-based resin. The lavender hues of the ocean's "magic hour" are brought to life on the dial through vacuum coating. Igarashi's signature and his competition number 50 in the world's leading professional surf series add a further distinctive touch to the design.

On the technical side, the GBX-H5600KI-5ER impresses with a high-resolution Memory-in-Pixel (MIP) LCD that remains perfectly legible even in direct sunlight and underwater. An optical sensor measures heart rate at the wrist, while sleep and blood oxygen levels are also tracked. Thanks to its carbon fibre-reinforced resin case back, the watch is significantly lighter than its predecessor. Solar charging combined with USB charging support ensures reliable power. Via Bluetooth connectivity to the CASIO WATCHES app, features such as world time, notifications, GPS distance calibration and tide graphs for approximately 3,300 locations worldwide are available. Water-resistant to 20 bar and shock-resistant, the watch is designed for surfing, running, hiking and all other sporting activities.

Care & Cleaning

• Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.

• Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
• Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
• Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
• Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it checked annually.
• Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
• Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.

Storage & Handling

• Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
• When winding mechanical watches, lay them down; do not leave the crown pulled out.
