The Casio GM-5600YMG-9ER is part of the Fine Metallic Series within the iconic G-Shock G-Steel line, combining maximum toughness with a refined, monochromatic golden finish. The glass-fibre reinforced resin case is crowned by a precisely crafted stainless steel bezel with gold ion plating, produced through an elaborate forging, cutting and polishing process. The silicone strap is enhanced with a gold-tone urethane layer applied by vapour deposition, delivering a metallic sheen that is soft against the skin yet highly resistant to abrasion.
The GM-5600YMG-9ER impresses with a comprehensive set of features: a 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, five multi-function alarms and a fully automatic calendar valid through 2099 make it a reliable companion for everyday life and sporting activities. - Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
