The Casio G-Shock Pro GMW-B5000D-1CER is a direct descendant of the legendary G-SHOCK original, now housed in a shock-resistant full metal stainless steel construction. The dial features the authentic colours of the very first G-SHOCK DW-5000C: G-SHOCK Red for passion, Blue for outstanding water resistance, and Yellow for superior shock resistance. The watch is manufactured at the Yamagata Casio factory in Japan — the very birthplace of the original G-SHOCK.

The stainless steel bezel is produced through an elaborate forging, cutting and polishing process: the top surface carries a hairline finish, while the bevelled edges are mirror-polished. Resin cushioning elements between the bezel and case provide optimum shock protection. The metal bracelet with its distinctive embossed texture pays homage to the resin strap of the original. The GMW-B5000D-1CER is powered by Tough Solar and automatically synchronises via Multiband 6 radio time signal across six reception zones worldwide, as well as via Bluetooth through the CASIO WATCHES app. Water resistance is rated at 20 bar.

Care & Cleaning

• Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
• Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
  Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!!
• Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
• Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
• Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
• Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
• Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
• Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.

Storage & Handling

• Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
• Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
