The Casio G-Shock GMW-BZ5000GD-9ER is a milestone in full-metal watchmaking, inspired by the very first G-SHOCK model and crafted at the legendary Yamagata Casio Factory in Japan. The solid-forged stainless steel case with gold ion plating on the bezel and bracelet combines uncompromising shock resistance with a bold, luxurious presence. A robust resin protector inside absorbs impacts through temporary deformation, meeting the exacting G-SHOCK standards within a fully metal construction.
The high-resolution MIP-LCD display with memory-in-pixel technology offers eight distinct display styles in STANDARD and CLASSIC looks, delivering excellent legibility in sunlight and charging via ambient light (Tough Solar). Via Bluetooth® and the CASIO WATCHES app, the watch connects effortlessly to your smartphone; Multiband 6 provides automatic radio time synchronisation across up to 38 time zones. Care & Cleaning
- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
