The Casio G-Shock GW-5000HS-1ER is a tribute to the very first G-SHOCK, the legendary DW-5000C from 1983, combining that timeless design with modern technology. The solid stainless steel case with screw-back caseback features a diamond-like carbon coating that delivers exceptional scratch and abrasion resistance. Key components in the case, strap and other parts are made from bio-based resin to reduce environmental impact.
The GW-5000HS-1ER is powered by Tough Solar (solar power) and receives radio signals via Multiband 6 from six time centres worldwide for the highest level of timekeeping accuracy. With water resistance to 20 bar and shock resistance, this men's watch is built for demanding use. Additional features include world time (31 time zones), stopwatch, countdown timer, five daily alarms and Super Illuminator LED lighting.

- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
