Description
The Casio G-Shock GW-5000HS-7ER is a tribute to the very first G-SHOCK DW-5000C from 1983, thoroughly modernised and reinterpreted in a monochromatic design. The shock-resistant stainless steel case with screw-back caseback features a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating for maximum scratch resistance. Key components of the case, strap and other parts are made from bio-based resin, designed to reduce environmental impact. Mineral glass protects the iconic dial, which preserves the spirit of the original.
The men's watch is powered by Casio's Tough Solar technology combined with Multiband 6 radio control, which automatically synchronises the exact time up to six times a day. The GW-5000HS-7ER also offers world time for 31 time zones, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, five daily alarms and a fully automatic calendar until 2099 – all housed in the classic G-Shock 5000 design.

- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
