The Citizen BY1030-09A is a versatile men's wristwatch that combines classic design with cutting-edge technology. The round stainless steel case, 42 mm in diameter and 10.72 mm thick, houses a white dial with clean baton indices and a captivating moon phase display. As an Eco-Drive watch, it is powered entirely by light — no battery required. Calibre H874 receives radio signals from atomic clocks in Europe, the USA, China and Japan, correcting the time automatically.
The Citizen BY1030-09A impresses with an outstanding feature set: world time, perpetual calendar, automatic hand correction, power reserve indicator, a power reserve of up to 180 days and a dark reserve of 2.5 years. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and water resistance to 10 bar complete the premium package. The blue leather strap with a safety folding clasp ensures a comfortable and secure fit on the wrist.

- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
