The Lemnos essent DFI-24-06-GY is an exceptional wall clock from Japan that places functionality and material aesthetics firmly at the centre. The round clock, 25.6 cm in diameter, impresses with its restrained design: an aluminium frame surrounds a carefully crafted paper dial, protected by an acrylic cover with UV coating. The model was designed by Daisuke Kitagawa, who consistently combines the duodecimal system for hours with the base-60 system for minutes and seconds on the dial — two numeral styles and two colour tones ensure clear and unambiguous readability at a glance.
The near-silent sweep quartz movement delivers a smooth, tick-free seconds hand motion, making it ideal for bedrooms, studies or any living space where quiet is appreciated.
