Description
The Lemnos essent DFI-24-06-NV is a minimalist wall clock from a Japanese manufacturer, reducing function and material to the essentials. The round aluminium case houses a dial made of high-quality paper, printed with two types of Arabic numerals in two colours: hours are read from 1 to 12, minutes and seconds from 0 to 55. This intuitive dual scale makes reading the time exceptionally clear and precise. The UV-protective acrylic glass cover protects the dial from fading over time. The clock's navy blue is refined by a touch of gold on the hands and accents, lending the piece a timelessly elegant character. With a diameter of 25.6 cm, the essent integrates seamlessly into living rooms, bedrooms, home offices, and studies. The near-silent sweep quartz movement (gliding seconds hand) ensures noiseless operation, which is especially pleasant in quiet rooms. The wall clock has been awarded the iF Design Award 2025 and was designed by Daisuke Kitagawa.
The essent is powered by a standard AA battery, which is already included in the package. Thanks to its low weight of 660 g and its ready-to-hang mounting, installation is straightforward.
