Description
The Lemnos Quaint AZ15-06 is an exceptional wall clock made of solid brass with a refined green finish, inspired by the large clock faces of historic tower and town hall clocks. Designer Shin Azumi gives this clock a distinctive interplay of light and depth through raised edges and a polished outer ring, which reveals the natural brass surface underneath. Crafted in Japan, the AZ15-06 represents the highest level of artisanal quality and timeless aesthetics.
With a diameter of 25 cm and a depth of 3.6 cm, the Quaint fits harmoniously into living rooms, dining rooms, or a sophisticated study. Quaint – Traditional metalworking with a striking surface
Quaint by Shin Azumi is inspired by the clock faces of historic tower clocks. Fine engravings reveal the brass beneath the colored surface while simultaneously improving the visibility of the time display.
The special texture is created using traditional dyeing techniques from Takaoka in Japan's Toyama Prefecture. Different processes produce black, silver, or greenish patinated surfaces. As a result, Quaint develops a unique presence, especially on material-focused walls made of concrete or brick.

Designer: Shin Azumi
Product designer, born in 1965 in Kobe, Japan. After graduating from the Kyoto City University of Arts (1989), he completed his Master's degree in Industrial Design at the renowned Royal College of Art in the UK in 1994. From 1995, he was part of the design agency "AZUMI" for ten years before founding his own design studio, "a studio," in 2005. Since then, he has been designing products and furniture for international companies.
Many of his award-winning designs can be found in the collections of museums worldwide. In addition to his design practice, he teaches as a professor at Hosei University and as a visiting professor at the Osaka University of Arts, the Akita University of Art, and the Kyoto City University of Arts.
