Description
The Luminox Air Pilot P-38 Lightning XA.9531 is a 42 mm pilot's watch for men, inspired by the legendary Lockheed P-38 Lightning fighter aircraft of World War II. The ion-plated 316L stainless steel case in deep black gives the watch a striking stealth look that performs equally well in the cockpit and everyday wear. The black dial is designed for maximum legibility: a shortened minute track reduces visual clutter, while the distinctive triangle with two dots at 12 o'clock ensures quick orientation at a glance.
The watch is powered by the Swiss quartz movement Ronda 515.24H with GMT function, enabling simultaneous reading of a second time zone — an essential feature for pilots and frequent travellers. The patented Luminox Light Technology with tritium tubes provides permanently self-illuminating hands and indices for up to 25 years, with no external light source required. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, screw-down crown, and screw-in case back ensure water resistance to 100 metres (10 ATM). The black genuine leather strap with a width of 22 mm completes the professional appearance of this Swiss Made pilot's watch.

Care & Cleaning
- Daily: Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
