Description
The Luminox ICE-SAR 1080 XL.1095 is a men's watch limited to 874 pieces, created in collaboration with the Icelandic Search and Rescue Service ICE-SAR. The ultra-lightweight CARBONOX™ case with a 45 mm diameter and 13 mm height is three times lighter than titanium, extremely scratch-resistant and non-heat-conductive, making it ideal for extreme Arctic conditions. The Swiss Ronda 515 quartz movement drives the watch with precision, while the unique Luminox Light Technology (LLT) provides a constant glow of up to 25 years without any external light source.
The textured black dial with pulsometer scale and date display is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The unidirectionally rotating CARBONOX™ bezel with a two-tone aluminium ring and the red rubber strap add distinctive colour accents. The screw-down case back in IP-black 316L stainless steel, combined with the protected push/pull crown, ensures water resistance to 200 metres (20 ATM). The watch bears the Swiss Made quality hallmark and is produced entirely CO₂-neutral.

Care Instructions for Wristwatches
Care & Cleaning
- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw down the crown firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Full service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not directly with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- When winding mechanical watches, lay them down flat; do not leave the crown pulled out.
