The Luminox XS.0957 belongs to the Sport Timer 0940 Series, combining sport-inspired design with classic elegance and Swiss precision. The 40 mm 316L stainless steel case houses a Swiss RONDA 515 quartz movement and features a striking sunray-brushed dial in green with a mix of round and baton indices for a timeless, refined look.
A standout feature is the Luminox Light Technology (LLT) with 8 gas tubes on the dial and hands: this self-powered illumination keeps the watch legible in any light conditions for up to 25 years — no button press or external light source required. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating ensures optimal readability, while the fixed stainless steel bezel with aluminium ring insert underscores the sporty character. Care & Cleaning
- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw down the crown firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Full service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not directly with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- When winding mechanical watches, lay them down flat; do not leave the crown pulled out.
