Description
The Messerschmitt Flieger Cockpit ME-7H148 is a men's automatic watch in the classic pilot's watch style with a distinctive cockpit design. The burnished stainless steel case with a diameter of 43 mm gives the watch a striking, slightly brown patina with a matte finish — a special process borrowed from toolmaking that enhances both the appearance and the quality of the case. The black dial with cream-coloured luminous numerals and hands draws inspiration from aircraft cockpit instruments, ensuring excellent legibility. Despite the substantial 43 mm case size, the watch sits comfortably even on smaller wrists, thanks to the closely fitted lugs. The vintage leather strap underscores the timeless aviator character of this timepiece.
Inside beats the reliable Swiss automatic movement Sellita SW 200, visible through the transparent display caseback. A sandblasted conical crown in stainless steel and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal complete the high-quality finishing. - Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Full service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not directly with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- When winding mechanical watches, lay them down flat; do not leave the crown pulled out.
