The Mondaine Classic A660.30360.11SBGV is a timeless classic with a rich history: designed in 1944 for Swiss Federal Railways station clocks and brought to the wrist by Mondaine in 1986 as the official Swiss railway watch. Its distinctive minimalist design, inspired by the Bauhaus movement, unites clarity and sustainability at the highest level. The polished stainless steel case with a 40 mm diameter, the clean white dial, and the iconic red crown make this men's watch truly unmistakable.
The vegan grape leather strap in brown with a red lining is composed of 75% plant-based eco-composite material and 25% recycled PET — a statement for conscious watch design. Crafted in Solothurn, Switzerland, this watch stands for Swiss quality and watchmaking tradition. It is water-resistant to 3 ATM (30 metres) and comes with a two-year international guarantee. Care & Cleaning
- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean dry or only slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have checked annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Remove mechanical watches when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
