Description
The Mondaine Classic A660.30360.16SBBV is a timepiece with the distinctive, minimalist design of the Classic collection. The 40 mm brushed stainless steel case with a clean white dial and iconic red crown embodies clarity and timeless elegance. The vegan grape leather strap in black with a red lining is composed of 75% plant-based eco-composite material and 25% recycled PET — a genuine statement for sustainability on the wrist.
The design dates back to 1944, when Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) developed the famous station clock. Since 1986, Mondaine has carried this Swiss original on the wrist as the official SBB watch — unchanged ever since and inspired by the Bauhaus movement. Each watch is assembled by hand at the factory in Solothurn, Switzerland, tested to 30 metres water resistance, and delivered with an international two-year guarantee. The quick-release strap system allows effortless strap changes without any tools.

Care & Cleaning
- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
