The Mondaine essence MS1.32120.RB is a vegan classic from the sustainable essence collection, reinterpreting the iconic Swiss railway clock design in a contemporary way. The black case, 32 mm in diameter, is made predominantly from a castor oil compound with renewable raw materials, and the natural rubber strap makes this ladies' watch a fully vegan timepiece.
The essence combines the core values of innovation and sustainability: manufactured at the Solothurn factory in Switzerland, each watch is hand-assembled and tested to 3 ATM water resistance. The RONDA 763E quartz movement ensures precise timekeeping, while hardened mineral glass reliably protects the dial. A practical quick-release system allows effortless strap changes. With the Swiss Made hallmark and a two-year international guarantee, the Mondaine essence embodies the finest Swiss watchmaking tradition.

Care & Cleaning
- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
