Description
The Seiko Prospex SUMO SFK001 is a high-performance solar GMT diver's watch for men, combining Seiko's legendary SUMO DNA with modern solar power and a practical GMT function. The 45 mm brushed and polished stainless steel case (316L) features Seiko's proprietary super-hard coating and offers 200 m water resistance certified to diver's standards. The blue dial with an embossed pattern and orange GMT hand gives the watch a distinctive, sporty appearance.
The SUMO Solar GMT is powered by the solar calibre 5K65, which converts light energy into electrical energy for continuous operation without ever needing a battery change. A sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating reliably protects the dial from scratches and ensures optimal legibility. LumiBrite luminous material on the hands, indices and bezel guarantees excellent visibility in the dark and underwater.

Care & Cleaning
- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
