Description
The Seiko Prospex SPB381J1 is a modern reinterpretation of the legendary Seiko diver from 1968, enhanced with a fully functional GMT complication for at-a-glance second time zone tracking. The round stainless steel case with a diameter of 42 mm impresses with a Super-Hard coating and a unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel that ensures scratch-resistant operation. The rich green dial is equipped with Lumibrite on the hands and indices, delivering maximum legibility even in low-visibility conditions.
The men's watch is powered by the new Seiko calibre 6R54, the brand's first mechanical GMT movement, offering a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. The GMT hand can be adjusted independently of the hour and minute hands in one-hour increments without stopping the movement. With a water resistance of 200 metres, the SPB381J1 meets all the demands of a serious dive watch. The three-link stainless steel bracelet with a safety clasp and extension segment completes the professional look.

- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
