Description
The King Seiko Vanac SLA083 is an exceptional Japanese luxury automatic watch that unites the aesthetics of the original 1970s model with state-of-the-art watchmaking. The faceted stainless steel case measures 41 mm in diameter and 14.3 mm in height, showcasing the interplay of high-polish and satin-finished surfaces that is hallmark of King Seiko. The captivating purple dial is inspired by the evening sky over Tokyo and features a horizontal grooved pattern, a three-dimensional index ring, and the distinctive gold-toned V-shaped 12 o'clock marker that is the signature of the Vanac line.
Inside, the automatic calibre 8L45 beats with manual winding capability, a 72-hour power reserve, and 28,800 vibrations per hour. The screw-back display caseback showcases the movement and bears the King Seiko crest. The dial is protected by a highly domed sapphire crystal with an inner anti-reflective coating. The integrated stainless steel bracelet combines mirror-polished and satin-finished surfaces and can be removed tool-free thanks to a clever quick-release system. Water resistance is rated at 10 bar.

Care & Cleaning
- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
