Description
The Seiko HBC005J1 is an exclusive men's automatic watch from the Prospex Sea collection, released as a Limited Edition of just 4,000 pieces worldwide to celebrate Seiko's 145th anniversary. The case design pays homage to Japan's first diver's watch from 1965, blending iconic style with modern precision. The distinctive blue bezel insert, inspired by the legendary "Seiko Blue" established in the 1960s, harmonises perfectly with the silver-white dial, lending the watch a fresh and elegant presence on the wrist.
The stainless steel case, measuring 40mm in diameter and 13mm in thickness, houses Seiko's in-house automatic movement Calibre 6R55 with manual winding capability and a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. The domed sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating, combined with LumiBrite luminous material on the hands, indices and bezel, ensures excellent legibility even in challenging light conditions. With water resistance to 300 metres, this watch is a reliable companion for ambitious divers.

Care & Cleaning
- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
