The Seiko Prospex HBC007J1 is a mechanical GMT watch from the renowned Alpinist line, designed for adventurers and discerning watch enthusiasts. Powered by the new calibre 6R54 automatic movement with manual winding option, it delivers an impressive power reserve of approximately 72 hours. The stainless steel case with superhard coating in brown/green measures 39.5 mm in diameter and 13.6 mm in thickness — compact yet striking.
The GMT function is made easy to read via a 24-hour hand with red tip and a rotating inner compass bezel. The inward-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, combined with LumiBrite on the hands and indices, ensures excellent legibility even in low-light conditions. With water resistance to 20 bar, this watch is well suited for demanding outdoor activities. The brown cowhide leather strap with triple-fold clasp perfectly completes its classic-sporting look.

- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have checked annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Full service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store watch separately, not directly with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Remove mechanical watches when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
