Description
The Seiko Astron SSH177J1 is a high-precision men's watch from the renowned Astron collection, combining GPS technology with solar power. The super-hard titanium case makes the watch exceptionally lightweight and highly scratch-resistant. Thanks to the integrated GPS receiver, the watch automatically synchronises with GPS satellite time signals, delivering accurate timekeeping across all 38 world time zones.
The chronograph measures up to 12 hours in 1/20-second increments. A perpetual calendar, dual-time function and day/night indicator complete the extensive feature set. LumiBrite luminous material on the hands and indices ensures excellent legibility even in the dark. The sapphire crystal with Super-Clear anti-reflective coating reliably protects the dial from scratches. The watch is water-resistant to 10 bar and features an easy-to-operate triple-fold clasp.

- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
