Description
The Seiko Astron SSH183J1 is a men's watch limited to 1,200 pieces from the Astron collection, combining high-precision GPS Solar technology with a dynamic, forward-looking design. The dial features a new horizontal pattern of interrupted lines evoking the concept of light travelling at the speed of light. Neon orange accents at various points lend the watch a sporting character that clearly sets it apart from classic models in the line.
The titanium case with super-hard coating ensures exceptional lightness and durability. The two-layer bezel combines ceramic components with a polygonal decorative edge — an exclusive design developed specifically for this special edition. The double-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides guarantees optimal legibility. The GPS Solar calibre 5X83 provides worldwide time-zone accuracy across 38 cities as well as a perpetual calendar valid until 28 February 2100.

- Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
