The Sternglas Hamburg Automatic Edition Argo is a maritime special edition of the award-winning Hamburg Automatic line by Hamburg-based watch designer Sternglas. Inspired by the ancient constellation "Argo Navis" and the Greek mythology surrounding Jason and the Argonauts, this limited men's watch features a distinctive dial in shades of blue, mint green, orange and green — a vibrant homage to seafaring and northern Germany.
The 316L stainless steel case with a diameter of 42 mm and a height of 12 mm gives the Argo a masculine yet everyday character. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal — typically reserved for luxury timepieces — reliably protects the colourful dial. Inside, a three-hand automatic movement with date display and a 42-hour power reserve keeps precise time. Hands and indices are coated with luminous material, ensuring legibility even in the dark. Water resistance to 5 ATM makes the Argo a robust daily companion. An elegant mesh bracelet with a folding clasp completes the maritime-modern look.

Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
