The Sternglas Hamburg Edition Marine is a maritime tribute to the port city of Hamburg, crafted with the precision Ronda 715 quartz movement and designed in the distinctive Bauhaus style. The 42 mm case in corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel with gold-tone PVD coating and polished finish lends the watch a refined, maritime character. The domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating ensures outstanding legibility in any lighting condition.

The dark blue satin-finished, domed dial with gold and orange hands and orange Luminova accents draws on the aesthetic of the naval uniform. In addition to hours and minutes, the watch features a seconds hand and a convenient date display. With water resistance of up to 5 ATM, it is suited for everyday wear and occasional water contact. Care & Cleaning

• Daily: Wipe case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration.
• Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry thoroughly.
  Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!!
• Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
• Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
• Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
• Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
• Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
• Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.

Storage & Handling

• Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
• Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
