The Sternglas Hamburg Chrono Edition Küste is a men's wristwatch in the distinctive Bauhaus style of the Hamburg brand, blending maritime character with clean, uncluttered design. The deep blue dial – a tribute to Sternglas's coastal editions – features orange Luminova accents on the hands and indices, evoking Hamburg's Nordic seafaring heritage. The 42 mm case in polished and brushed 316L stainless steel stands just 9.5 mm tall (excluding crystal), giving the watch an elegantly slim profile on the wrist.
The Edition Küste is powered by the Seiko TMI VK64 Mecha-Quartz movement, combining the tactile feel of a mechanical chronograph with quartz-accurate precision. The domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating ensures optimal legibility in all lighting conditions. On the SuperSlim stainless steel bracelet, the watch sits flat and comfortable on the wrist. A date display at 6 o'clock and a 24-hour indicator complement the chronograph functions perfectly. - Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
