Description
The Sternglas Tachymeter 2.0 is the largest watch ever released by the Hamburg-based Sternglas manufacture, combining uncompromising Bauhaus design with sporty chronograph functionality. Its 44 mm case in brushed and polished 316L stainless steel features a two-tone blue dial architecture with Super-LumiNova indices, a white hours/minutes ring, a 60-minute register, a small seconds sub-dial and a 24-hour display. The tachymeter scale on the aluminium bezel insert underscores the motorsport character of the watch.
The Tachymeter 2.0 is powered by the Seiko TMI VK63 Meca-Quartz, a movement that combines the precision of a quartz movement with the mechanical feel of a classic chronograph pushpiece. The double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides reliably protects the dial, while a screw-down stainless steel case back and water resistance of 10 ATM ensure robust everyday wearability. The 20 mm stainless steel bracelet integrates seamlessly into the sporty yet elegant aesthetic.

Important: Screw the crown down firmly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only dry or slightly damp, do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak, clean only slightly damp and allow to dry away from heat.
- Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
