The Sternglas Hamburg Edition 1911 is a limited special edition of 1,500 pieces, dedicated to the construction of the Old Elbe Tunnel. The dark blue, satin-finished dial evokes the depths of the Elbe river, while a fine light blue ring pays tribute to the historic tunnel. Golden hour and minute hands alongside a signal orange seconds hand give the watch a bold, striking character. High-luminosity Nemoto-Luminova on the hands and indices ensures reliable legibility even in low-light conditions.
The 316L stainless steel case with a polished finish measures 42 mm in diameter and is fitted with a double-domed, double anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The engraved four-screw caseback features a detailed depiction of workers walking through the Elbe Tunnel, which opened in 1911 — a unique collector's piece with a story to tell. - Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
