Description
The Sternglas Hamburg Chrono Edition Vintage (reference S01-HCV22-WL02) is a tribute to Hamburg's maritime charm of the 1920s. The 42 mm polished 316L stainless steel case in a warm gold tone sits comfortably on the wrist thanks to its slim profile of just 9.3 mm. The dark green, satin-finished dial with gold-orange hands and Luminova accents gives the watch an elegant, high-contrast vintage character. It is powered by the proven Seiko TMI VK64 Mecha-Quartz movement, which combines the precision of a quartz movement with the direct, tactile feel of a chronograph. The screw-down caseback features a detailed edition engraving depicting a vintage car on the Binnenalster. The brown suede strap lends the watch an exceptionally soft, authentically vintage feel and measures 20 mm in width.
In addition to the stopwatch function, the watch also features a date display at 6 o'clock and a 24-hour indicator. The domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating reliably protects the dial and ensures optimal legibility. - Water resistance: Do not wear in the shower or bath, have it tested annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have a depleted battery replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately, not in direct contact with other jewellery (risk of scratching).
- Place mechanical watches on a flat surface when winding, do not leave the crown pulled out.
