- Daily: Wipe the case and strap with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and sweat.
- Water-resistant watches: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
Important: Screw the crown down tightly beforehand!!! - Not water-resistant: Clean only when dry or slightly damp; do not use water or cleaning agents.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, perfume, cosmetics, and heat.
- Leather straps: Do not soak; clean only with a slightly damp cloth and let dry away from heat sources.
- Water resistance: Do not wear while showering or bathing; have checked annually.
- Battery (quartz): Have dead batteries replaced immediately.
- Mechanical watches: Service by a master watchmaker every 5 years.
Storage & Handling
- Store the watch separately; do not keep it directly with other jewelry (risk of scratches).
- Take off mechanical watches when winding; do not leave the crown pulled out.
